Award-winning medical marijuana documentary to play on the Big Island

The Marijuana Policy Project invites you to attend a screening of Waiting to Inhale, a feature-length documentary film, which provides a compelling and detailed look at the medical marijuana issue. Funded in part by a grant from MPP, Waiting to Inhale brings the debate back to the lives affected by medical marijuana's legal status.

Waiting to Inhale will have four showings this week at the Aloha Theatre on the Big Island. The showings will take place every night at 7:30 p.m., from Thursday, September 1, through Sunday, September 4.

Waiting to Inhale has already played to critical acclaim, having won the 2005 CINE Golden Eagle Award, the Gold Special Jury "Remi" Award at the 38th Annual WorldFest-Houston, and the 2005 Best Documentary Film/Video at the New Jersey International Film Festival. You can visit www.waitingtoinhale.org for more information on the film.

The Aloha Theater is located in Kainaliu Town, eight miles south of Kailua-Kona on Highway 11. The theater can be reached by phone at (808) 322-2122 and on the Web at www.alohatheatre.com. Tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
