Hundreds of Floridians reach out to Gov. Crist to veto excessively harsh trafficking bill
Many thanks to the hundreds of Floridians who have reached out to Gov. Charlie Crist (R) over the last few days in opposition to HB 173 and SB 390, which would make Florida law unnecessarily harsher than federal law.
If you have not yet sent Gov. Crist an e-mail asking him to veto HB 173, please do so today.
|
Also, please be sure and call Gov. Crist's office at (850) 488-7146 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and ask him to veto this legislation. If you are directed to voicemail, your message can be as simple as: "Hello, my name is _______, and I oppose the marijuana trafficking bill currently before you. Please veto HB 173 and SB 390, which would send many people to jail who aren't drug dealers and cost taxpayers millions in the process."
Thank you for supporting the Marijuana Policy Project and opposing this legislation. Please forward this e-mail to others in Florida so they can take action as well.
