Florida: Let's make one last push to defeat the unjustly harsh trafficking bills!

With more than 500 people e-mailing Gov. Crist (R) over the last few days in opposition to HB 173 and SB 390, Floridians are making it clear that there is plenty of opposition to this cruel and not well thought out legislation.

But we need more people to act today in order to send an even stronger message!

Please print out as many copies of this letter as you like and distribute it to friends, family, co-workers, and anyone else who is interested in letting Gov. Crist know that Floridians will not stand by and watch citizens sent to jail for trafficking unless there is proper evidence to support such a charge. Please remind your friends to fill in the date and their contact information before faxing their letter to Gov. Crist's office.

Also, please be sure and call Gov. Crist's office at (850) 488-7146 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and ask him to veto this legislation.
