Fla.: Take action in support of medical marijuana TODAY!
Message:
As you probably know, twin medical marijuana bills have been introduced in the Florida House and Senate that, if passed, would give the voters of Florida the chance to decide for themselves whether the Sunshine State should enact a medical marijuana program. Unfortunately, leadership in both chambers has refused to schedule the bill for a committee hearing or even an informal caucus hearing. Please join fellow supporters in today’s statewide call for action, and email your state senator and representative to ask them both to support the resolution and lobby leadership for a bill hearing.
Jodi James, Executive Director of the Florida Cannabis Action Network, has been up in Tallahassee advocating for a hearing on these bills and ensures me that lawmakers are taking note of the incredible support medical marijuana enjoys. Email your lawmakers and tell them that constituents want to see medical marijuana discussed and ultimately put on the ballot.
