Activists and volunteers needed in Tallahassee!

MPP is passing along this alert on behalf of Tallahasseans for Practical Law Enforcement.

The local political action committee Tallahasseans for Practical Law Enforcement (TPLE) is currently hiring full-time canvassers and training volunteers to help gather signatures for an initiative that will make marijuana laws the "lowest enforcement priority" in the city of Tallahassee.

The campaign still needs thousands of signatures, and you can help us get them! Activists and organizers all over Florida are invited to come help out. Students from places as far away as Orlando are driving up to volunteer on weekends.

If you're interested in a full-time position or just helping out, please call us at 850-224-0868 or send an e-mail TPLEoutreach@aol.com now.

If you're in the city of Tallahassee, feel free to come to our open house on Friday, June 18, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Our offices are located in the new Tallahassee Progressive Center, at 1720 S. Gadsden Road. Refreshments will be on hand, and you'll get the chance to learn more about TPLE.

For more information about the campaign, please visit www.signtheplea.org today. Thank you for supporting marijuana policy reform in the state of Florida!
