Urge your Denver City Council members to responsibly implement Amendment 64!
The following script is a suggested guide for your calls to your Denver City Council members. [Note that the "at-large" members represent the entire city, so you can call the at-large members in addition to your district representative.] If you are not sure who your district representative is, you can do a search based on your address at the bottom right of this page.
Please remember to be polite and respectful of the person who is tasked with answering the phone and taking messages. Your manners are as important as the message:
"Hi. I am calling about the city council's consideration of Amendment 64 implementation. I just wanted to say that as a Denver resident, I strongly support having regulated marijuana businesses in the city. It is not only what the people of Denver voted for, but it will also generate tax revenue and help eliminate the underground market. I hope Councilmember __________ will be voting in favor of having marijuana establishments in the city. Thank you."
