Title:
Colo.: VOTE!
Message:
With 32 hours left of the 2012 election, The Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol is projecting a tight finish. A recent memo from Survey USA concluded that "Older voters oppose Amendment 64, and if the amendment should go down to defeat, it will be because younger Coloradans talked the talk but did not walk the voting-booth walk." If you want to see the end of marijuana prohibition, it is imperative that supporters “walk the voting-booth walk.”
If you are one of the many Coloradans who have already cast your ballot by mail, thank you so much. If you didn’t request a mail-in ballot, please make sure you get out to the polls tomorrow to exercise your franchise. It is a rare and historic day when the people of a state are given the opportunity to end the failed marijuana prohibition. Make sure you don’t miss out on such an important occasion.
Finally, if you have the time, please reach out to your friends and family in Colorado and remind them to vote “Yes” on Amendment 64. It’s a simple gesture that yields positive results. The campaign provides great talking points on their site.
To the polls!
