Ask members of the House Committee on Public Health, Welfare, and Labor to support medical marijuana

Rep. Jim Lendall (D - District 35) and Rep. Buddy Blair (D - 65) have introduced medical marijuana legislation, H.B. 1321, in the Arkansas House of Representatives. This bill allows seriously ill people to use marijuana with their doctors' approval. The House Committee on Public Health, Welfare, and Labor, is holding a hearing on H.B. 1321 in its hearing room in the State Capitol on March 11, at 10 a.m.

Making your opinion known to the committee is the key to passing medical marijuana legislation this year: Only you can convince them that this issue is important to Arkansas residents.

Please take a few minutes to Take Action. After you choose your favorite pre-written letter and type in your address, our site will automatically e-mail your letter to members of the House Committee on Public Health, Welfare, and Labor . . . all with the click of a few buttons. Alternatively, you can print out the letters and send them to committee members through regular mail. All of this can be done with the click of a few buttons, but makes a world of difference. Also, please take a look at the bill, which is posted on MPP's Arkansas Bills Pending page.

Passing medical marijuana legislation this year would at last protect the seriously ill residents of Arkansas who need marijuana as medicine.

We need your active support to pass this bill through the Committee and onto the floor of the Arkansas House this session.

Thank you for supporting the Marijuana Policy Project. Please tell others about this site so that even more voices can speak out for reform.
