Title:
Ark: Today and tomorrow, vote YES on Question 5
Message:
It’s here! Tomorrow is Election Day, and it’s potentially an historic one. Voters in Washington and Colorado may end marijuana prohibition entirely in their states, and you have a chance to help make Arkansas the first state in the South to remove criminal penalties for medical marijuana use by patients whose doctors recommend it.
Polls open at 7:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow. To check the status of your registration, or to find your polling place, visit the Arkansas Secretary of State’s information page at voterview.org. Early voting locations — typically your county clerk’s office — are also open today until 5:00 p.m.
Polls show that this is going to be a very close election, so every vote counts. Here are just a few of the patients throughout Arkansas who are counting on voters to support medical marijuana tomorrow. You can help spread the word by forwarding this email, calling your friends and family, posting on Facebook and Twitter, and displaying your signs and banners near polling places. For information on the initiative, or more ways to get involved, visit ARcompassion.org. And of course, get out to the polls and vote YES on Question 5!
Fingers crossed!
