Only 12 days left to register for training forums in Arizona

Message:

Are you interested in opening a medical marijuana dispensary in Arizona, or do you know someone who is?

If so, you should register for one of MPP's training forums in Tucson or Phoenix on April 4 or 5, each of which are $300/ticket. Both events will sell out, as did MPP's previous training forum in Phoenix last December.

The pair of forums on April 4 and 5 is being co-sponsored by the Arizona Medical Marijuana Association.

We're sorry we couldn't give you more notice, but we only just confirmed this all-star lineup of participants:

*Will Humble, director of the Arizona Department of Health Services, the agency in charge of drafting and implementing Arizona's new medical marijuana regulations.

*Lisa Hauser, the attorney who drafted MPP's medical marijuana initiative that Arizona voters passed on November 2, 2010.

*Cameron Artigue, an attorney at Lisa Hauser's law firm who specializes in zoning issues.

*Joe Yuhas, the political consultant who co-ran the medical marijuana initiative campaign this past fall and is now forming the trade association for medical marijuana businesses in Arizona.

*Rob Kampia from MPP's headquarters in Washington, D.C.

*A medical marijuana dispensary operator (about to be confirmed) from Colorado.

The Arizona health department's medical marijuana regulations are expected to be released on March 28, and the department will be accepting dispensary applications during the month of May only. So, the timing of this pair of forums is nearly ideal.

We hope to see you on April 4 or 5!

P.S. If your company wants to sponsor this pair of events for $5,000, please e-mail MPP at RobKampia@mpp.org. (Your company will receive two free tickets to each event, table space immediately outside the front door of each event, and advertising in MPP's e-mail alerts, Web page, and written materials for both events.)
