$300 medical marijuana forum in Phoenix on December 13

Published: November 30, 2010

Earlier this month, MPP's Arizona medical marijuana initiative became the only statewide marijuana-related initiative to pass in any state. Since then, we have been receiving a large number of phone calls from people asking how the new law will work.

As a result, we want to reach out to you to answer your questions and we will be holding an educational forum in Phoenix on Monday, December 13.  The following speakers are the best equipped in the nation to discuss implementation of Prop 203:

•  MPP's Karen O'Keefe, who is one of the four co-authors of the newly-passed initiative;

•  MPP's Rob Kampia, who will discuss the the relationship between federal law and Prop 203;

•  Joe Yuhas or Andrew Myers from Riester, who will discuss how Arizona law might change and how state and local authorities might respond; and

•  Brian Vicente, who will explain how dispensaries actually work in Colorado.

The forum will be $300 per individual, and $500 per couple. If you are interested in attending, you can  register online here. If you have any question reagarding the forum e-mail MPP right now at PhoenixForum@mpp.org.

We are excited to help move Arizona into the future, and make it a place where medical marijuana patients have safe access to their medicine. Come join us and be a part of making that a reality.
