A large body of evidence shows that cannabinoids, marijuana's unique components, have potential as anticancer drugs. In this study, researchers found that a number of naturally occurring cannabinoids, especially cannabidiol (CBD), inhibit growth of cancer cells while leaving healthy cells alone.
