MPP's Party at the Playboy Mansion

MPP hosted its third annual party at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles on June 12. The event raised a profit of more than $180,000 to support MPP's efforts to end marijuana prohibition nationwide and was attended by more than 600 MPP supporters.

The party featured a live performance by Perry Farrell, frontman of the famous alternative rock band Jane's Addiction, and reality TV superstar and fashion model Adrianne Curry, who recently joined MPP's Advisory Board, hosted the event. Attendees bid on auction items such as artwork by Russell Young, who studied with Andy Warhol, vintage photographs of James Dean, Frank Sinatra, and Jimi Hendrix, and VIP tickets to the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

Among the many celebrities in attendance were comedians Margaret Cho, Jackie “The Joke Man” Martling, and David Wain, actors Danny Glover and Christopher “Kid” Reid, musicians Craig Wedren, Damian Kulash, Scott Kirkland, and DJ Native Wayne Jobson.
