Patients, Lawmakers, Advocates to Hold Medical Marijuana Press Conference Before Tuesday Committee Vote on Bill

CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE Supporters of New Hampshire's medical marijuana bill will hold a press conference Tuesday, 10 a.m., in the lobby of the Legislative Office Building, just before a crucial vote takes place on the legislation.
Patients, advocates, and sponsors of HB 774 the bill to protect seriously ill patients from arrest for using doctor-recommended medical marijuana will call on the House Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs Committee to pass the bill when it votes later Tuesday.

Who: Scheduled speakers at the press conference include:
- Reps. Tim Robertson (D-Keene) and Paul Ingbretson(R-Haverhill), two of HB 774's five sponsors
- Frank Fayette, a Vietnam veteran from Pittsfield with severe and chronic pain who is currently prescribed morphine (health permitting)
- Darlene Wilson, a patient from Manchester, who suffers from severe and chronic pain (also health permitting)
