SB 110: Sentencing Commission


This bill creates and specifies the membership of the California Sentencing Commission to implement a new sentencing system in California. The purposes include "to render sentences in all cases within a range of severity proportionate to the gravity of offenses, the harms done to crime victims, and the blameworthiness of offenders" and "to eliminate inequities in sentencing across population groups... "
