H.B. 365: A Bill Relating to Habitual Offenders; Authorizing the Court of Conviction to Sentence a Person Convicted of Class B Felony with Three Previous Felony Convictions to Prison for Not Less Than 20 Years


This bill would allow a court to sentence a defendant convicted of a Class B felony who has previously been convicted of any three felonies to a term of imprisonment of not less than 20 years. This bill would establish a procedure for retroactive application of the sentencing of a person who is found to be a habitual felony offender.
