H.B. 1116: An Act to Provide that Any Person Who Has Been Convicted of Any Felony or Misdemeanor Shall Forever Be Ineligible for a Scholarship or Grant


This bill seeks: to amend Code Section 20-3-519.1 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to ineligibility for a HOPE scholarship or grant, so as to provide a short title; to provide that any person who has been convicted of any felony or misdemeanor shall forever be ineligible for a scholarship or grant; and to repeal conflicting laws.
