A4867: A Bill Providing for the Medical Use of Marihuana

This bill would allow certified patients to possess and grow limited amounts of marijuana. To qualify, their medical practitioners would have to sign certifications that, in the practitioner`s professional judgment, the serious condition should be treated with the medical use of marijuana. The patients could also designate caregivers to cultivate their medicine for them. The patients would submit certification to the department of health, would would issue registry identification cards.
