New York Benefit - September 19, 2012
We are delighted to announce that Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin and Libertarian Vice Presidential nominee Judge James Gray will join Montel Williams as featured speakers at our Fall Fundraising Benefit!

MPP's Rob Kampia will present Montel Williams our award for Extraordinary Activism by a Patient Advocate. Montel, through his testimony before numerous state legislatures and on national TV, is the premier spokesperson for marijuana's medical value for patients with multiple sclerosis.

Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin will receive our award for Legislative Leadership for his crucial and enduring support of both medical marijuana and decriminalization efforts in his home state.

Your attendance will help MPP raise money and awareness of our work and will help us continue to change laws nationwide. Celebrate our outstanding achievements over the past 17 years as we look forward to many more victories in the years to come, including statewide votes on our ballot initiatives in Arkansas, Colorado, and North Dakota this November 6!

Philip Williams is offering a 15% discount on purchases made the evening of our event, with another 15% of the sale then donated directly to MPP. We'll have a silent auction, featuring the 420 Collection by Grace Slick, along with items from a host of other artists who have donated their work to support ours.

Buck Scientific has generously offered to sponsor the bar, Food for Thought catering will provide a feast of fabulous options for every type of foodie, and Duane Park Patisserie is bringing the cookies … so get ready.

If you have questions regarding the event, call Leah Harris at 202-905-2015.

Online ticket sales have currently ended, but we welcome you to purchase tickets at the door tonight. We look forward to seeing you there!
