Medical Marijuana Benefit - New York 2006

Nearly 300 MPP supporters attended MPP's awards gala in New York City on June 12, 2006. The event honored U.S. Rep. Maurice Hinchey (D-NY) with MPP's Legislative Leadership award, as well as MS patient — and first Rhode Island legal medical marijuana patient — Rhonda O'Donnell with MPP's Activist of the Year award.

The evening featured entertainment by national touring act Medeski Martin and Wood, Jackie "the Jokeman" Martling, and radio personality Jim Hightower, among others.

Nearly 300 guests enjoyed dinner, auctions, live music, and dancing at MPP's Awards Gala at Capitale in New York City.
