2006 Party at the Mansion

More than 700 MPP supporters attended MPP's party at the Playboy Mansion on March 30 2006, raising more than $170,000 for MPP's work to reform marijuana laws.

MPP Executive Director Rob Kampia presented the Pioneer Award to Hugh Hefner, citing his pioneering role in helping to start the marijuana policy reform movement in the 1970s.

Entertainment world VIPs in attendance included TV and radio personality Adam Carolla; comedian Tommy Chong; "Wedding Crashers" screenwriter Steve Faber; actors Patrick Fugit, Olivia Wilde, Michelle Phillips, and Golden Brooks; and musicians Sia, Mike Simpson, and Waylon Payne.

Music was provided by Ray Benson, Rocco DeLuca and the Burden, dj Native Wayne Jobson, and dj Shark.
