Marijuana Policy Project

In the shadow of the United States Capital, MPP hosted our 15th Anniversary Gala on January 13, 2010 to a packed crowd of almost 300 guests from across the country. Hosted by Maryland legislator Don Murphy, with remarks by former Gov. Gary Johnson of New Mexico and Rep. Steve Cohen of Tennessee, the event honored marijuana advocates from across the country, including Julie Falco of Illinois, Dr. Joseph McSherry of Vermont, Rep. Evalyn Merrick of New Hampshire, the late Rep. Thomas C. Slater of Vermont, and comedy duo Cheech and Chong.
