Summer Solstice Party at the Marrakesh House
Los Angeles, CA | June 23, 2012 | 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.
You are invited to the Summer Solstice 2012, a celebration of vitality, fortitude, and new beginnings. Join us on June 23 at a magical hillside home in Los Angeles as we herald our achievements and the opportunities that lie ahead. This event will help us raise money and awareness, to position us for success.
Traditionally, the summer solstice served as a reminder that a tipping point in the growing season had arrived. After years of planting the seeds of reform, we are finally at that tipping point. As summer brings the heat of a pivotal election year, we look forward to numerous marijuana policy successes across the country in the coming months.
In addition to the Marrakesh House’s acclaimed Moroccan design motifs, it is also a model of sustainable living. The home, built and owned by Chris Paine, director of “Who Killed the Electric Car?” features an organic garden, native plant landscaping, solar power, and other must see elements. The evening will also include delicious hors d’oeuvres, drinks, music and entertainment.
